Craig David returns with single and new record deal

One of the UK’s most successful R&B singer songwriter’s is back with a new single and new record deal. Craig David will release 'One More Lie (Standing In The Shadows)’ on March 15th through his new label – Universal Music.

The single, his first since 2008, takes a sample from the classic Four Tops hit (first released in 1966) and gives it a modern flavour. The end result is a hugely infectious upbeat floor-filler with hard knock drums and a new level of vocal from Craig.

'One More Lie (Standing In The Shadows)’ will be the first single from what will be Craig’s fifth studio album Signed Sealed Delivered released a week later on the March 22nd. The album is a collection of memorable hits written by some of Motown’s finest and reworked in Craig’s inimitable style.

	Enter Shikari Blackpool gig cancelled due to health and safety issues Enter Shikari had to cancel a gig at the Empress Ballroom in Blackpool on Saturday (January 6) due to health and safety officials deeming the venue unsafe for the performance. During the band's soundcheck in the afternoon the officers, examining structural issues with the building, made the decision to pull the gig. 	Leona Lewis says people who wear fur make her "sick". The vegetarian singer - who is a public supporter of PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) - thinks it is disgusting the way the fashion and music worlds still embrace clothing made from animal pelts and the apparent resurgence in the popularity of fur. Leona - who doesn't wear suede, leather or other animal products - said: "I think animals are treated very poorly. When I see people wearing fur it makes me so sick. Especially when I see young singers doing it - that sickens me. When I rocked up to my first photo shoot they had feathers and fur there and everything In despise. 	Joe Perry: Tyler still part of Aeromith The war of words between Aerosmith stars Joe Perry and Steven Tyler appears to be over - the guitarist insists the singer is still very much a part of the rock band. 	Ne-Yo: 'Lohan abandoned pop collaboration' Ne-Yo has cast doubt on Lindsay Lohan's pop return after the actress/singer abandoned plans to record more songs with the R&B hitmaker. The Miss Independent singer worked with Lohan in 2008 on her single Bossy and made arrangements to head back into the studio to record more music together for her forthcoming third album. 	Clarkson wades into Swift rift Kelly Clarkson has written an open letter to a record executive who defended Taylor Swift's off-key performance at the 2010 Grammy Awards by declaring, "This is not American Idol." Big Machine label boss Scott Borchetta came to Swift's aid on Thursday after critics picked apart her duet with Stevie Nicks at the Los Angeles ceremony last week. After hearing me, Radio 1s Mary-Anne Hobbes put me in touch with Wes Borland (Limp Bizkits ex-guitar player) to work in his new band Eat the Day. We met at the Kensington Park Hotel to discuss the project over cream tea. It was pretty weird - I'd been hoping for something a little harder to calm my nerves. He was a loveley guy, but I may have betrayed a bit too much excitement when his manager mentioned that he'd been the manager for Rage Against The Machine (as they're one of my favourite bands ever).
